LDF Construction would like to wish our vendors, partners and colleagues a Happy New Year! We are grateful to be entering 2020 with our current projects going well and newly formed partnerships flourishing! We are thankful to continue to work with local companies year after year and look forward to building new relationships around the State of Wisconsin in 2020.

We closed out 2019 successfully completing three federal projects and—achieving our biggest accomplishment yet—obtaining our first million dollar U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) contract.

A slate of government certifications and designations were obtained in 2019, positioning LDF Construction to create even more jobs and economic growth through federal and state contracts and private sector investment.

LDF Construction, an LDF Business Development Corporation business unit, now is certified to participate in the U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development Program and the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s Minority Business Enterprise Program.

These designations will help LDF Construction compete for direct-bid contracts as well as jumpstart partnerships and alliances with other organizations. One of the state’s largest contractors, Findorff, has a working relationship with us as a result of these designations.

This year, LDF Construction was awarded a $1,015,000 federal 8(a) construction contract by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forestry Service. This was the first contract awarded to LDF Construction through the federal 8(a) program, but it’s the fourth federal construction project LDF Construction has worked on for the U.S. government.

Our focus for 2020 is to continue to maintain our high safety standards, explore new projects, keep up with the latest technology, grow in our market, and, as always, the forward progress of our employees and associates. The growth and development of our team is paramount to taking LDF Construction into the future and continuing our mission of providing value, service, and trust.
